My Quest

To get fit. I came home from California with renewed zeal to take better care of myself. To eat healthier and start exercising. After a quick trip to the doctors here that was also impressed upon me by her. SO I found a treadmill and bought some fitness d.v.d.s.

First off the treadmill has become my best friend. 30 minutes of uninterrupted walking time. Just as with my gardening the kids and hubby see that thing going and quickly disappear.Do they think I am going to make them walk too?

This wasnt enough though. Oh no. When I decide to do something I go whole hog. So I give the walking a week and think yes its time to add something else into the mix. Lets do one of the D.V.D.s. I grab Jillian Michaels 30 day shred and pop that puppy in. Only 20 min and according to the wrapper in 30 days I will be a whole new me!

I would like to know WHY they do not warn you ahead of time with a label that clearly states she will try to kill you? I am now rubbing myself down with Ben gay and praying that the pain will just stop! I think I will just stick to walking.............

On a brighter note, I crawled (and yes I literally crawled) down to the studio and have been getting a lot done! Pictures to follow this week if I can find the strength to pick up the camera......

That should have come with a spew warning! Get over here and get the coffee off my screen!!! :-) Crawl to the hot tub and it will all be fine... spike coffee or bring wine and it will be better faster ;-) And here I thought I was doing good because I started walking the dog...... oy...
oooooh so sorry buddy! But just think of wiping the screen as strength training! you know wax on wax off! hahahahahah

Oh so true - my treadmill comes with some programmable activities - slow, fast, slow, faster, slow, fall off the track faster...

My personal favorite is the fact that I can plug my iPod in and listen to music or a book while walking at my own speed...

Have that glass of wine while soaking in the hot tub...that works wonders!

Just became a follower so I can see how you do. I have my sewing machine, computer and treadmill all in the same room. As I've said before, I wish the treadmill would power them both. It seems to fit in last to the other two items. Keep it going!
