Camping

Or in my case would that be glamping???

I was pitching a fit that I wasnt going to get to take the 5th wheel out this year. WH absolutely hates it and has been wanting to sell it. He has this thing about bumper pulls verses 5th wheel..I think its like a Dogde/Ford thing...You are either one or the other...

We differ on this.I love the 5th wheel. But because he doesnt we seem to not go camping as often as we want..Crazy how that happens...Well long story short we wound up with a little bumper pull at our house. The 5th wheel mysteriously disappeared to another city and I had no way to get it pulled back. WH was headed out of town and some of my peeps were headed to Medora, ND to go camping...

I batted (actually begged) my eyes and asked pretty please and one of my peeps husbands offered to pull the camper up. (:
It was WONDERFUL....All though I am NOT in love with this little camper and was happy to tell WH we are NOT keeping it, it was sure nice having AC in 90+ weather and also being able to go with my peeps....No I would not have went had I been required to sleep in a tent...
Medora was wonderful and I cant wait to go back!
Even Bell had fun...
And being an old western town we HAD to take old western photo's....

Your western attire photo is super!! So often I have wanted to be camping with some of my quilting buddies - could never handle our new 5th wheel though unless it could be in a pull through slot. Then there is the leveling & it would have to stay hooked up to the truck.

Curious as to why your DH doesn't like the 5th wheel though?? I have really bonded with ours. looks like our truck repair will run an extra $1000 but hope to be on the road again Saturday - Good Lord willin' & the creek don't rise!
Always an adventure when driving to Alaska, right?

Have fun around the campfire.
