Vintage Love

When I saw the test go up for the Vintage Kate Tea dress I was prepared to beg to be accepted..Seriously beg. I could tell from just the drawing that it was going to be one of my favorite dresses ever. Y'all I cannot even begin to describe how much I love this dress. The fabric is a very lovely Rayon that I found at Hobby Lobby. I had bought it with no project in mind. It was the perfect fit. The pattern is one of the most well written patterns I have done. Its really sometimes quite difficult to test. I have sewn for many years but I am still learning. Many times I will get a pattern w...

Caught up on with the Challenge!

Its not honestly even worth repeating the name. It was poorly written and I had nothing but problems with it..The fabric is from my stash and they both are costumes for the upcoming Star Wars 5k. The cover up is a pattern from Pattern Emporium called the Calypso Kaftan. The fabric is from a dress that I bought in the Philippines. I loved the fabric but the dress not so much. I am LOVING the kaftan though!  https://patternemporium.com/products/ladies-calypso-kaftan-pdf-pattern Pattern is very well written and this is actually #5! They are wonderful to throw on in the summer. Now the tote is my favorite of all these projects! This is the Take Off Tote from Dog Under My Desk patter...
