A Finish JUST in Time!!

I do mean JUST in time! Wedding was at 4 p.m. on Saturday. I was putting the final touches on this, taking pictures, and wrapping all right before. Needless to say we were too late to all sit together. It was a VERY large wedding.....But either way I am happy with myself...


I really dont remember how old this quilt top is. I cannot for the life of me remember when I started it. Jody may....Or not.......Suffice it to say its a few years old. So a finish on this AND being able to give it as a wedding gift to someone who will cherish it is a good feeling :).....To celebrate after we got home from the reception this is what I did.........And in about an hour I will be repeating this action. Maybe sooner :)

April 2006 we took the mystery class--mine is still in the pile waiting to be quilted! Yours is lovely--and done! The hot tub looks lovely too, (as do you!)

Wow! A striking quilt - bet the bride & groom were so happy! Got a kick out of your hot tub photo - the perfect place to unwind & I think my wine goblets are exactly the same. Red, cut design, on the heavy side? And they hold a nice amount of wine too:o)

I did today. Then just as I was about to scream I found this. It has ALWAYS made me laugh.I had forgotten I had it though.So today it was just like a present.Ü Oldest daughter has been confined to the house with what her doctor tells us is a very contagious viral infection. Personally I think her doctor is smoking some funny stuff. Her blood tests were normal and she has been battling bad tonsils for a month.Hmmmm. why my text to my blog messed up like that. the text is all words but it transposed to symbols somewhere along the way. i am still in sacramento.my father passed away on sunday. this is definitely the roughest thing i have ever done. i am being strong for mom though.funeral is this sat. and then our "new" normal starts. i just miss my dad. i am so grateful though that i did get here in time to say goodbye.
