I got it together enough to get pictures today. Yippeeeeee!

When I told Yall about my beautiful Apron that I got from Rebecca and all the goodies she put in the box I forgot to introduce you to Fred. He tagged along in the box! I LOVE Fred. Thank you Rebecca for all my goodies and for Fred.

Yeah it could look and DOES look better when I am not wearing two turtle necks a sweatshirt and the heaviest sweats I could find. I am freezing today.It was -1 when I woke up. UGH..........Here is the pink angora shawl I finished. I purchased the yarn at a garage sale a few years back. It was yarn a dear friend had bought for a shawl but she died before she could make it. Now she was much more talented then I am at knitting but I wanted my oldest to have something of hers. So Here it is! A few years in the making but it will be loved.I also am going to start binding on this. My oldest is babysitting here tonight and I am just not feeling kid friendly so I am going to hide out and bind my turtle quilt. Wait till you see howe gorgeous the backing is with this! The backing was hand dyed by Vicki and is amazingly beautiful!

DONT FORGET tomorrow is the start of the last give away apron. The fancy schmancy bling apron that I JUST finished like ten minutes ago. I will post a pic tomorrow with the question!

Glad you got some you time! You've certainly earned it!! LOVE the apron and the turtle!!! :-D I can't wait to see the fancy schmancy apron! But I'll behave and give someone else a chance now that I have my cute cute cute one! Thank you again!!! :-D

I did today. Then just as I was about to scream I found this. It has ALWAYS made me laugh.I had forgotten I had it though.So today it was just like a present.Ü Oldest daughter has been confined to the house with what her doctor tells us is a very contagious viral infection. Personally I think her doctor is smoking some funny stuff. Her blood tests were normal and she has been battling bad tonsils for a month.Hmmmm. I dont think it takes rocket science when that is ALL she went in there for but evidently it does. More tests have been ordered and she is confined until monday. Can you say lets drive mom crazy? why my text to my blog messed up like that. the text is all words but it transposed to symbols somewhere along the way. i am still in sacramento.my father passed away on sunday. this is definitely the roughest thing i have ever done. i am being strong for mom though.funeral is this sat. and then our "new" normal starts. i just miss my dad. i am so grateful though that i did get here in time to say goodbye.
