Mug Hug and Rug

First off I have to tell you I totally pilfered these pictures off of Vickis blog. She has an awesome blog http://tozzscorner.blogspot.com/ This woman is SO incredibly talented and she graciously let me a stitcher beginner play! I LOVE the set she sent me. I couldnt get a good picture of the set she sent me and I forgot to get one of mine, hence the pilferring.

You can tell which one is mine as the stitching is very beginner but I will tell you anyways. Mine that I sent her is the brown,red and turqouise.Tomorrow I am going to go play around with fabric and aprony goodness.Ü

I did today. Then just as I was about to scream I found this. It has ALWAYS made me laugh.I had forgotten I had it though.So today it was just like a present.Ü Oldest daughter has been confined to the house with what her doctor tells us is a very contagious viral infection. Personally I think her doctor is smoking some funny stuff. Her blood tests were normal and she has been battling bad tonsils for a month.Hmmmm. I dont think it takes rocket science when that is ALL she went in there for but evidently it does. More tests have been ordered and she is confined until monday. Can you say lets drive mom crazy? why my text to my blog messed up like that. the text is all words but it transposed to symbols somewhere along the way. i am still in sacramento.my father passed away on sunday. this is definitely the roughest thing i have ever done. i am being strong for mom though.funeral is this sat. and then our "new" normal starts. i just miss my dad. i am so grateful though that i did get here in time to say goodbye.
